Another sample from the modeling test shoot with Kyle. This was the first image I captured from the session. Very fancy suit.

Technical Ramblings: Two AlienBee B800s bare and fired at the white seamless background. One AlienBee B800 in a large softbox camera left. I don’t have the silver reflector camera right in the this shot and the shadows are a bit too much. Lightroom sharpening and clone tool for skin touchups. Photoshop CS3 and Totally Rad Actions; Modified Oh Snap! (basically no additional sharpening), Good vs Evil (whiten the background), Pro Retouch (skin smoothing and eye whitening).

Another image from the senior portrait session this past weekend with David at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Grabbed this image while I had David look away from the camera so the smile is not so forced when he looks back.

Technical Ramblings: One Canon 580ex flash fired up into some tree cover camera left. Sun is coming in strong to the right above his head. Hair is blown out a bit too much but the image still works. Lightroom sharpening and clone tool work on the skin. Photoshop CS3 and Totally Rad Actions; Boring Old B/W, lifted some contrast around the eyes.
